‘Journalism can never be silent: that is its greatest virtue and its greatest fault. It must speak, and speak immediately, while the echoes of wonder, the claims of triumph and the signs of horror are still in the air’- Henry Grunwald.

Sylvana Debono was born on the 23rd of March. She is now the editor of the portal Newsbook.com.mt. She is also currently the president of IGM, which is the Institute of Maltese Journalists. She simply adores the environment and animals in general. She had several different roles and jobs in her life. Antvin Monseigneur was born on the 21st of October. He was a presenter of a program called 'Interessi u Investimenti' on One News in June 2016. He is now working as a sports journalist. Together with Sandro Micallef, now he has a programme on Thursdays at six in the evening. They both use social media but different platforms. Antvin is more on the television side, since the sports programme is held on television. He also uses Facebook in order to communicate with others and he puts a lot of quotes. In one of the latest post that he posted, the quote is; ''Don't worry about what I'm doing. Worry about why you're worried about what I'm doing. One must remember that great minds discuss ideas, small minds discuss people''. Sylvana also uses Facebook as a social media platform. She is also posts frequently on the portal of Newsbook frequently. One of the recent article that she posted was on the 8th of February, meaning four days ago. The article had the title of; ''ENGOs propose new layout for Msida Creek''.

In the ceremony of journalism awards, she stated about the importance of journalism in the Maltese society. Here is what she mentioned; ''Freedom of expression, can be considered the greatest gift that civilization has given to human society. The thinking behind this fundamental right is that freedom of expression is making up for much more''. Unlike Sylvana, Antvin never took part of the journalism awards and is not either a member of the Institute of Maltese Journalists. He is a member in the Malta Sports Journalists, that was founded in 1970. Every journalist can write in their own way. Having that kind of message may be interpreted wrong. From a research that I did, Antvin passed from this experience. Journalist Antvin Monseigneur apologized for his Facebook comment about the skin color of French footballers. This comment made the Chairman of One, Jason Micallef angry, and even condemnation from the Ministry of Health with which Monseigneur works.

Attacking journalists can also be common nowadays. A man convicted of punching a sports journalist at Luxol grounds in Pembroke. The case took place in September four years ago when Francis Muscat punched journalist Antvin Monseigneur for writing an article. As a result, he suffered serious injuries. Sylvana was also attacked, but not physically. From a research that I did, there was an attack when she was working with the MEPA. The Times of Malta newspaper of Sunday, back in 2005 , there was harsh criticism. The editor had also wrote a message cause he noticed that he did a mistake. This is what he wrote; ''I have no hesitation to proffer my apologies to Ms Debono and assure her that it was never my intention to launch a personal attack on her and the way she handles the responsibilities of her job''.

''Journalism is a career which demands the highest professionalism. It demands responsibility as well, for the line between honest revelation and disingenuous sensationalism is sometimes perilously thin''- Margaret Thatcher.
